Embracing Love's Diversity: A Celebrant's Journey
On April 19, 2016, I was ordained by the American Marriage Ministries (AMM) and am an active “Minister” in Good Standing. AMM is built on the belief that all people, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or socioeconomic status, have the right to contract marriage, that all people have the right to administer the marriage contract, and that it is the right of every couple to choose who will officiate their marriage.
In September 2023, I celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary. At this time in my life, I am spiritual and soulful without being involved with an organized religion. Life sure has its ups and downs, and having a loving and supportive partner to navigate rough waters and share joyous moments is a wonderful way to travel on this earthly journey. To me, love comes in all shapes and colors – I am here to support who you love and want to grow old with.
